The Dance Of The Tide

I know I published something a few weeks ago now of my little vacation at Cape Cod with my husband. We needed a break from the crazy. Since then the crazy has only got worse and perhaps I will tell you more about the chaos here another time. Right now, My husband is in Vienna Austria, finishing out his contract as things get crazier and crazier here I find myself thinking back to that little cape cod vacation wishing I was still away on it.

Moon Snail the further out you walk the larger they get. They leave these beautiful winding little trails in the sand and to find one, all you have to do is follow the winding trail.

Chalk Board Door

Everyone knows our situation has been a bit up in the air lately. We have been and still remain somewhere stuck between Vienna Austria and New England. Good news! A major event happened yesterday, Allied moving company finally brought our stuff from Vienna! The guys who delivered everything, were smart, professional, chatty, nice, highly efficient, and impeccable at their job. Nothing broke in transit. So now, we are in a whole new world of mess. Our first world of mess was when we went through everything that had been left in storage all this time when we first arrived. Now, once again we find ourselves buried in boxes to sort through…. So please bear with us. International moving is not small change. It is incredibly difficult, complicated, and takes a great deal of time.

New England Spiced Cider

It’s kind of stormy and rainy today here in New England. Once again, as usual the weather forecast couldn’t be any more wrong. Seriously, for those of you thinking about coming to New England, don’t pay attention to a word those people on the news say about the weather. You have to watch the birds here to really know what is going on. They tell you everything you need to know. I would be a Romney, if I had a dime for every time I was expecting a thunderstorm here by the ocean and instead got bright clear skies and singing happy birds and small gusts of light ocean breeze all day.  The air is lovely twinged with a little bit of salt from the ocean more prominently so depending how close you actually are.
