Early Autumn

Early Autumn

It’s autumn here in orchard country. This area, gets the most amazing foliage. We wanted to share some photos of the autumn leaves. I love waking up in the morning to the smell of autumn fog and looking through it to see the leaves changing color. I also love the bright blue skied mornings when the air is dry and crisp and the autumn foliage plays with the sunshine, little yellow leaves sparkling as they fall from the trees to the ground. Wildflower Farm

Wildflower Farm

Welcome to Wildflower Farm. This is not just our new home, it is also the new home of Cafe Primrose. It sits in a clearing surrounded by trees nearly 1000 feet from the nearest road. It is an old salt box colonial style, a reproduction inside and out of a home in old Sturbridge Village, known as the Parsonage. In one room on the first floor is where I do my Cafe Primrose work. That room doubles as a gift shop as well in addition to being my studio space, and is open by appointment. We went from super cramped quarters to a home so spacious we have more space than we need. So we have listed on AirBnB. Now we open our home and our beautiful 5 acre farm to travelers. Our way of continuing to travel without ever having to leave our farm. We know a lot about travel after so many years on the international highway. So now, we are supporting others as a stop on their adventure just as so many supported us in various ways on our own national and international adventures. (more…)
