Cafe Primrose, began, about a block from the Rathaus in Vienna, when a nomadic couple got bored and homesick. They began playing in their little viennese kitchen to entertain themselves. They created the beautiful foods from the homelands they missed so much. It started, with Granola from New England and Finnish Glogi at Christmas time. Then, the young couple, started creating food and candy based on flavors they missed from all the other places they had lived along their international nomadic path. A world of food made from natural and organic ingredients came together… Now we offer to share our nostalgia for times gone by in places gone by with all of you.
We strive to live holistically and naturally as we travel the planet everywhere from Scandinavia to the USA and beyond. We move for career reasons. My husband, is a physicist presently with Vienna Technical University. Eventually the contract there runs out as it did in the location we were in before this one. I have studied music and archaeology a bit at the university level. My passion is creative lifestyle and caring for our two adorable and spoiled puppies. We live for the time being in a lovely flat, a block from The Rathaus, in Vienna’s 8th district. We frequently travel as neither one of us is presently residing in our own homeland. We originate on opposite sides of the world. That we met and came together and made a nomadic life together is kind of miraculous given we were an ocean apart.
This blog will chronicle our travels, creative projects, international living, our home and family life and our delicious international and holistic flavors. We really look forward to sharing our adventures with the world, because they have been so much fun.
